Dr Xuezong Yang received his PhD from Shanghai Institute of Optics and Fine Mechanics, CAS in 2019. He has studied diamond Raman lasers at the MQ Photonics Research Center in Sydney, Australia from April 2018 to April 2020. He is currently working in the Center for Advanced Laser Technology in Hebei University of Technology. His research interests include fiber and diamond Raman lasers, single frequency lasers, ultrafast fiber lasers, and other nonlinear optical phenomena. His most recent focus is in the development of novel and advanced sodium guide star lasers and its applications.
