Jinhui Shi | Harbin Engineering University

Jinhui Shi, PhD, is Professor of College of Physics and Optoelectronic Engineering at Harbin Engineering University. He is Vice Dean of College of Physics and Optoelectronic Engineering and Director of Photonics Research Center. Prof. Jinhui Shi received his Ph.D. from Harbin Engineering University in 2007. From 2001 to present, he has been working in College of Science and College of Physics and Optoelectronic Engineering, Harbin Engineering University. In 2009 and 2013, he was a visiting research fellow in Optoelectronics Research Center, University of Southampton. From 2011 to 2014, he was a posdoctoral researcher in State Key Lab of Millimeter Waves, Southeast University in China, and worked with Prof. Tiejun Cui. From 2016 to 2018, he was a visiting researcher in metamaterial group, School of Physics and Astronomy, University of Birmingham, and worked with Prof. Shuang Zhang. Now his current research interests include metamaterials, plasmonics and in-fiber devices. He is principle investigator of more than 15 projects, has authored and co-authored over 80 published journal papers including Physical Review B, Applied Physics Letters, Optics Letters, Science Advances and Laser & Photonics Review.
