Hongde Qin received the Ph.D. degree from Harbin Engineering University, Harbin, China in 2003. He is a Professor and Director of Science and Technology on Underwater Vehicle Laboratory at the Harbin Engineering University. His current research interests include unmanned underwater vehicle, hydrodynamic analysis of offshore structures, single beacon underwater navigation. Professor Hongde Qin is an IEEE senior member and currently the Associate Editor of SIVP, Science Progress.
